Froggy's Noodle House

Froggy's Noodle House was created in Unity by a team of 4 within 72 hours for the "Mini Jam 189: Cooking", in which alongside the theme of Cooking, we additionally had to work with the limitation of "Time is the Enemy"! As the theme is revealed early for this jam, we went into our planning for the game with the general idea of having the player be a frog chef serving bug-themed ramen to other froggy customers. We kept things a bit loose in order to accommodate for the limitation reveal (when the jam officially started), so when it was announced to be "Time is the Enemy", we included a timer within the game that the player must go up against to try and score a high number of points by serving as many orders as possible to customers before the time is up in the round.
I helped in creating the UI artwork and assets for the game, including the logo, timers, speech bubbles, and collaborated with other artists to make the food icons! I additionally implemented motion graphic animations to most of the UI created, such as animations for both of the frog and ladybug timers, and motion effects for the speech bubbles that appear above the customers. One of the biggest things I felt I accomplished during the jam was learning how to do Spine 2D to Unity implementation, which I had never done before until working on this game! I also learned more of how to do animation for UI within Unity itself during the jam.
